IONIC Transfer Sled

The IONIC Transfer sled has been designed and developed to meet the needs in urban flooding for casualty transfers. The transfer sled can access buildings or a confined space situation, where its not possible to use a boat or a raft for rescue/evacuation. and be capable of of evacuating injured casualties from flooded areas.

This unique design sled is constructed using only one piece of ORCA 4” (100mm) Drop
Stitch Fabric. This creates an extremely robust construction, as well as providing maximum buoyancy and stability on the water.

The Transfer Sled can be inflated rapidly using high pressure air cylinders connected to the inflation valves using the Compact Inflation Kit (SAF38038)or by using a conventional hand/foot pump. The design allows for both the deck, side and end walls to inflate to 6psi through a single inflation point which provides unrivalled stability in the water.
